HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

I have a storytelling photo-journalistic approach to shooting weddings. I am both able to step back and catch moments as they unfold, as well as step in and direct where needed. (I am small but LOUD and mighty. Directing family portraits with 50+ people is my specialty). It is important to me to know and understand what is most important to YOU so that I can capture your memories in the best way. Ultimately, I want you to be able to look back at your photos in 30 years and remember how you felt.

When my husband and I got married, the photos that stuck out to me the most weren’t epic adventurous backdrops or perfectly posed portraits of us in front of immaculate decor. My favorite photos are the ones of us Kim K ugly crying when my dad was giving us his speech and thanked my husband for being a good father to our cats. It’s the photos of my husband’s Grandfather telling one of his sarcastic jokes. It’s the photo of us sneaking a smile at each other during the ceremony. I approach your wedding in the same way that I would approach my own - to capture those little moments that will mean the most to YOU.

In terms of my editing, I describe my style as warm, bright, and true to life in color. I stay away from trendy editing that goes out of style eventually. I ultimately want my editing to enhance what is happening and to evoke the emotions of the day.

WHAT DOES “ALL THE BEST PHOTOS” MEAN?

This means that I do not believe in holding your memories hostage! I comb through all of the coverage from your day and use my professional discretion to select the best photos, edit, and deliver those to you. 
I typically deliver anywhere between 500 - 1000+ photos per wedding, but there is no cap!

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY HANDS?

Do you think you are “awkward in front of the camera”? Well I got news for you - pretty much everyone I shoot tells me this! I am super chatty and I got a few tricks up my sleeve that’ll have you saying "OMG we look SO HOT and not awkward at all!" at the end. I want to make sure I get to know you beforehand so I can better understand who you two are as a couple. I want your photos to be reflective of YOU! By the end of our shoot, you’ll be laughing so hard and having so much fun you’ll forget I’m even there. Just think of me as your professional third wheel (Alcohol helps too if you need a little liquid courage)

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Hell yes I do & it is HIGHLY encouraged!! I LOVE travelling for work and all I ask for round trip airfare & a place to crash!

SO DO YOU LIVE IN SEATTLE OR LA?

I live in LA but was born and raised in Seattle. I moved out to LA a few years ago and still visit my family back home often. Because of this, I do not charge any travel fees for weddings in Seattle! It’s a win-win for everyone :)

I SEE YOU’RE ALSO A MAKEUP ARTIST. CAN I BOOK YOU FOR BOTH?

Absolutely! My brides with smaller, intimate weddings have really enjoyed and benefited from hiring me for both! However, I may not be able to accommodate both services depending on the length of the day and number of people needing makeup services. Reach out and let’s chat!
