Bright and Fun Summer Backyard Wedding in Southern California

As a Southern California wedding photographer, it’s been really cool to see how couples make the most of this crazy year and re adjust to some of the most beautiful, intimate elopements. For Nicole and Julian, they ended up getting caught in the COVID-19 mess, and decided to rethink their plans for a big wedding, and opted for a bright and colorful Southern California elopement at Nicole’s childhood home. With just their closest friends and family in attendance, the two said “I do” under the most beautiful floral arch, and celebrated with tons of color, laughter, and joy.

Nicole and Julian embraced the saying “when life gives you lemons” in the best way for their intimate backyard wedding, tying in bright pinks and oranges with sunny lemons as their design inspiration.
