Havasupai Falls Couples Engagement Photos | Havasupai, Arizona | Mooney Falls

My husband and I conquered the most challenging thing we have ever tackled in our entire lives: we backpacked to Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon in Arizona!!! Also known as Havasu Falls, this was a 10 mile in, 10 mile out backpacking trip.

Let me tell you: my husband and I had NEVER backpacked before. EVER. Getting reservations to camp at Havasupai is tough and they don’t allow day hiking. Reservations open up once a year (around February) and the entire year gets scooped up and booked within a couple hours. As luck would have it, a friend of mine managed to get reservations and then ended up not being able to go! Collin (the hubs) and I looked at each other and said -ok let’s do it.

So we geared up, trained (and my trained I mean, we went practice hiking on some easy trails beforehand), bought our plane tickets, and went!

The hike was TOUGH and brutal, but it was well worth it and I can’t wait to go again! If you are interested in eloping here or just want to take some rad engagement photos, please let me know! I would love to photograph you and your love here!
