Intimate Backyard Desert California Wedding

Kristin and John married in the backyard of John’s parent’s home in Lancaster, California. When I first stepped foot in the backyard, my jaw DROPPED. Kristin designed her entire wedding herself and it was GORGEOUS. Kristin’s dad built the altar himself out of a beautiful mahogany wood, which perfectly matched the beautiful reception tables laid out across the immaculately landscaped backyard. Combined with gorgeous calligraphy hand-lettered signs and burgundy florals, the backyard was transformed into Kristin and John’s dream wedding!

I’ve never met anyone like Kristin and John before. Their connection is straight-up electric and their goofy personalities were present throughout the entire wedding day. After the ceremony, we drove exactly 1 minute down the road to an expansive desert Joshua Tree landscape. Umm excuse me?? HECK YES.

Their entire wedding day was filled with so many tears, joy, and love and it was a day I’ll never forget!
