ABOUT TIDA SVY
My name’s Tida (like pita)! I’m a Palm Springs wedding & elopement photographer and I am so freakin’ excited that you’re HERE, you’re ENGAGED, and you’re looking to get some photos to celebrate it! To tell you a lil about myself - I’m not just another photographer – I’m your hype girl, your ally, your eyes and your ears on your wedding day. I’ll be there freaking out shouting “OMG HOT FIRE ALERT” hyping you up during portraits because holy-shit you look amazing AF! I’ll be dancing circles around your guests while I shove my camera in their faces, fixing your hair when the wind gets too cray, and confidently (and loudly) directing your family portrait time. I’m a tiny ball of giant energy and gurl, it shows on your wedding day – TRUST.
I’m here to give you beautiful, real, and candid photos that you’ll cherish for a lifetime – the ones that capture you and your partner at your silliest, weirdest, and most intimate moments. The photos that make your mom cry, the ones you’ll pass down on for generations, and the ones that make you go “YAAASSS QUEEN, LOOK HOW HOT WE ARE!”

HOW TO PLAN A WEDDING IN PALM SPRINGS —
5 TIPS FOR PLANNING A PALM SPRINGS WEDDING
Couples come from all over the world to have their wedding in Palm Springs! This desert oasis is a truly the perfect getaway for a destination wedding, no matter where you are coming from. (I’ve had couples fly in from all over the United States and different parts of the world to get married in Palm Springs, including Washington, Oregon, Australia, and Asia!). Here are 5 things you need to know about getting married in Palm Springs:
The City of Palm Springs has a 10pm noise ordinance for wedding taking place outside. If you’re looking to party past this time, there are still some options! Look for a venue with both outdoor / indoor spaces and move the party inside at 10pm.
There are two sunsets! What ever the posted sunset time is on your wedding day, factor in that the sun sets behind the San Jacinto Mountains one hour before the posted time. You’ll want to factor this in when building out your timeline! I work closely with all of my couples to build out timelines based on their wedding day priorities and making sure we have the best lighting for the ceremony and couples photos.
It can be hot and windy depending on time of year. You generally want to avoid the summer and winter months in Palm Springs. At the end of the day, Palm Springs is a desert which means it can get really hot and really really freezing cold and windy! The months with the best weather to get married in Palm Springs are April, May, late September, and October!
Avoid Coachella Weekend. Coachella is a massive music festival in the nearby city of Indio, drawing in tens of thousands of music fans every single year. Typically spanning across two weekends in April, you definitely want to avoid having your wedding during this time.
Make it a full wedding weekend! Your friends and family are likely traveling in for your wedding. Don’t let the party start and end on your wedding day only! There are tons of great options for having a great rehearsal dinner the night before and a brunch and pool party the day after!

When it came to our wedding, I wouldn’t have trusted anyone but Tina to capture those moments. The day went by so quickly, i legit sobbed seeing the photos for the first time because the memories came rushing back. I’ll forever treasure the moments she captured of us and our loved ones.
